My Wife and I regret to hear of Bill's passing. He was a great man and a true servant of the Lord. A very good Preacher and sincere in every way. He could relate to the People and never set himself apart from them. He helped very much in the healing process that took place in Victoria after the problems of the early 50's I spent a lot of time with Bill when he was the Architect in setting up Larpent as a Convention ground in 1957.He was a born organiser and very efficient, and maybe Victoria needs another Bill Macourt at this time. He also spent a lot of time in our home when we were first married. He had a good sense of humour and there must have been a lot of funny situations. However he was very easy to live with, and never caused embarrassment, and it was never a strain to have Bill in the home. Although we are now ex's we will always have the highest respect for Bill and remember the happy times we had together. Enjoy the rest from your labours Bill because you have earned it. God bless you.

nice to hear some good things about bill . he was in mildura during the great upheaval , he was responsilble for exing 3 family's here in 1951 , our elder and his family was one . my parents had great respect for him and i met up with him in WA a few times and he treated me well , of course i was the son of a family that he held in high esteem, he was not quite so kind if he thought you didn't quite line up our family stayed with the vic workers in the time of trouble and we continued to go to Bills mission over that period , I was at high school at the time and half my friends went to Bill;s mission and half did not and continued to have meetings that were not approved by the V workers and of course we had eddie cooney here at that time too , very interesting times We no doubt know each other I left in 1998 over doctrinal issues
