Endless conflict in endless desert, brutal poverty in an ancient land and an endless array of cereal in a bankrupt America.
Attempting to change the unchangeable and tame the untameable, cosmetic surgery on the wild at heart. You can't domesticate a Dingo.
Iraq will cost America billions of dollars and thousands of it's children and nothing will change.
As babies we love everything, as adults our love is focused down to one or two things. I remember mother telling me as a child, men are often destroyed by the things they love. It was after the death of a top race car driver, I dismissed it as anti-sport sentiment of the fellowship. She was right of course.
An excellent movie. And yes, it leaves Avatar in it's swirling dust.
