Well I am on break right now eyedeetentee. After the fit that Gene threw because he couldn't have a cig or coffee, well my nerves are shot. It took about a half hour before he calmed down. I don't know who the anonymous buffoon might be. I was in the back 'tending' to the books, came out here, and see the fracas. Gene, the mgmt offers its apologies - I have your coffee, cig, and a piece of cake. Where's Scott? We need a bouncer. Maybe Gem would be better. thanks for the cig, eyedeetentee. I needed it badly after all that rebutting. Nothing like a good smoke after a good rebuttal. As for bouncer, I nominate the pirate. He's kinda sexy in a leather and tattoos kinda way  This place could use a bit o' flava of the piracy kind! |

Quit blowing your smoke in my face.....yeah, the little smoke rings are cute and all but SHEESH!!! ;D My cigs are clove cigs.... no tobacco. In fact, I'm thinking of switching to zucchini cigs. Zucchini shows up in everything else all summer long; why not smoke 'em? |

A debate does not need a winner. What exes need a trophy? Trophy for what? I've read quite a lot of your posts ranman and have been patient, wondering if you have something significant to contribute and hoping you will eventually say it. It doesn't seem like it will happen. I hope you find purpose and happiness.

Everyone has something to contribute to the world, Ran, and you are no exception. If I were to wish to change anything aside from your "jabs" at people, it would be your constant need for reassurance that people like you and you are a worthwhile human being.  Now, I know I shouldn't WANT to change anyone...and that there is PLENTY (oh believe meeeeeeee..plenty you see and plenty more you don't!) about me that needs to be changed as well....but you do post "feel sorry for me/I know I'm worthless" things quite often. I'm very sorry if I read you wrong and you really ARE that sad/depressed that you feel you have nothing to contribute or are worth nothing...because that is just NOT true..for any one of us. We're all unique and we're all worthwhile. If you ARE that down you need to get some help...seriously. I'm on medication right now; I should know. (and, as an aside, it..combined with several other things...IS helping as far as I can tell.) Now..I will feel more stupid than I usually feel if you were just joking somehow with your post! And please don't take what I wrote as an insult (tho *sigh* I suppose it was insulting and I'm sorry..)because it wasn't intended that way. Let me try to rephrase it in a nicer way... Stop thinking so little of yourself, if you can, and stop depending on other people to validate how you feel about yourself. No matter who we are there will always be someone (or many) that don't like us....are you going to allow those people to cause you to not feel good about yourself? What about the people that DO like you and try to build you up? WHy not let THEM get the upper hand instead of the naysayers. Now..I know I have been one to "try to bring you down' many times...as you have been to me! But...if we ALL just practice a bit more of that love of your fellow man that Jesus was talking about...the whole world would be a lil bit better place! And...if we can't change the world...we can at the MINIMUM change our own way of thinking!
