I think you are asking if we are Christians who meet regularly with Friends and Workers, and the answer is No.We are believers who are drawn from a number of different evangelical churches who serve our brothers and sisters and enjoy fellowship with them at Conventions and other meetings. However, we aren't members within that community of believers.
At a recent convention, one senior worker was speaking from Mark 4, about Jesus stilling the storm. Verse 36 mentions "And there were also with him other little ships". We drew great confidence from that verse because we at Allan are like those other little ships with Jesus on the sea of life, besides our fellow Christians in the fellowship we serve.
R L Allan has been serving the fellowship for over 80 years and we view our business as a ministry in the Work.
I hope this explains our working and spiritual relationship with our friends around the world. Thank you for asking!
With warm Christian greetings Nicholas Gray About hymns old and new I wrote a e-mail to R L Allan asking if any professed or had any part in the church called 2x2 or sometimes called "TRUTH". This was the reply.

Interesting--not members, but they certainly have the vocabulary mastered and understand the hierarchy of the Work...I guess 80 years of association would do that (and it wouldn't hurt business either).

Hey Jock when you sat next to him, did he use an RL Allen hymn book? Was he part of it? or just visiting? is he a 2x2? Does he own it?
