The "friends" in our area, and the "workers," are becoming more ecumenical in their relations with the community (world). We have always sent our children to the many Bible School opportunities that the local churches provide. This may be free baby sitting for some, but they are a great way for the young children to learn to socialize with other children away from their meeting church friends. They are also a great way for the children to study the Bible. The schools consist of a program at the end of the week that the parents, grandparents, workers, etc. have an opportunity to attend. We take advantage of the opportunity and suggest that others participate if they are not already doing so. This has become common in our area in the last few year.

It sounds like you are an active 2x2. What part of the world are you in? I can't see the workers being happy about such school for children. Have you ever attended their services? You might find their services to be of as much value to you as you feel they arfe foru your children. Why are you still attending 2x2 meetings?

Is it trues that the F&W had a representative on the official Danish committee of churches to make a new official Danish translation of the bible?

Programs for the youth are lacking (in the home fellowship) and the folks need to take advantage of all the help that they can get for their children.
