Ben F. Klepzig
(December 23, 1914 - May 8, 2009)

Ben Klepzig, 94 of Georgetown, died Friday, May 8, 2009. Ben was born December 23, 1914 in Strasburg, Illinois to the late Frank and Maggie Whitmire Klepzig. He is also preceded in death by his twin brother, Delbert Klepzig; brothers, Joe, Louie, and Tony Klepzig; sisters, Lillian Lenz, Jennie Shafer, and Martha Klepzig.
Ben married Burnette Prunty on March 22, 1943 before entering the United States Army. Ben served his country honorably in the United States Army during WWII.
Ben leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 66 years, Burnette Klepzig of Georgetown; his sons, Raymond Klepzig and wife Myra of Round Rock, Robert Klepzig and wife Linda of Georgetown, and Stephen Klepzig and wife Donna of Hutto; sister, Maggie Eckert of Camden, SC; along with many other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 11, 2009 at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel from 7:00PM to 9:00PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at 10:00AM at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at IOOF Cemetery in Georgetown.
