What would you say were your 'defining moments' in relation to the 'truth' ... either positive or negative.... the moments / experiences which either cemented you within the group, or led you away...and every response in between...

When I read the 1997 letter from the Canadian friends. And then Read Phillip Yancey's book, What's so Amazing About Grace? I found out that Grace is not just a few verses sung before a meal. It has been a wild and wonderful journey since then. Devouring my Bible, NLT and NIV, only. Can't handle the KJV or NKJV. All I hear is the workers twists when I read them. I now have such a hunger for the Lord and the Word and He fills me more each day.

Going though and period of suffering anxiety/panic disorder. Now I am on top of it all, I realise that the humans brain can easily mix and confuse the real and imagined. This experience has made me that much more analytical about events and situations. It also causes me to question the status-quo of a lot of issues that are attributed to having faith.
The perennial question in my mind: Where does faith end and gullibility begin?
