What particular scripture, or verse of scripture has been a source of help and inspiration to you?

All those that speak of Jesus Christ reconciling us to the father. Trust in the Lord not man. Do not fear, [365 times] John 1: Jesus is the word made flesh...... The word of God is more powerful than any double edged sword to dividing soul and spirit and bone and marrow. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your soul and all your strength. Dont do unto others what you dont want done to yourself. All the scriptures that taught me prayer All the scriptures that taught me how to praise and worship. The psalms. Too many to mention.

That is a lot at one time, Shushy! "Let He who is without sin cast the first stone." has often stopped me in my tracks when I have been on the verge of making statements.
It has also been a help when on the receiving end of criticism.

When we go to the Good Book in extreme circumstances there is help there.
Something to match your state.
God loves us to go there just to give us food even when life is going well.
Do we sometimes leave God lonely?
Is He sometimes, like us, just longing for some frindship?
A little acknowledgement ? Perhaps+

Why limit our inspiration to one particular book?

Scripture is Scripture. It has no limits, Edgar. God given.

Has inspiration limits, even in ordinary life (without the bible)?

Has inspiration limits, even in ordinary life (without the bible)? It is only limited by how we respond to it. It can come from anywhere, from anything, from anyone. Since all things were made by God, could one say all inspiration is from God?
