What is the connection between motes and hypocracy.
Jesus said, '' Thou hypoctite, First take the mote out of thine eye, and thou canst see clearly to remove the speck in thy brothers eye.''
Are all cricital people considered hypocrites??

First, note what Jesus' comments presuppose:
1) It is possible to remove the mote from one's own eye 2) Removing the mote in order to see clearly is a necessary condition for being able to help others remove the specks from their eyes 3) One who has removed their own mote is not necessarily hypocritical in pointing out specks to others
Popular abuse of this teaching would have us believe it is not possible to remove our own motes and therefore no-one is ever in a position to help another remove specks from their eyes. Compare that mis-interpretation with what Jesus actually said.

Are all cricital people considered hypocrites?? Depends who's doing the considering If ypu are making a codemnation or judgement about someone and you are doing the same, you have a beam(sin) blocking your view.Jesus encouraged us in another passage to step back, examine ourself and then judge what He called "righteous judgement"-condemning the act and judging according to His standards not our own. A fine line,at best!!
