Was reading some about Steve and was wondering if any one has heard anything else about him. I professed under him and Allen when they were in my area. I still am professing ,so this came as a shock to me. Wonder if he gets on here. Would like to hear from him.

Does anyone know anything about Steve Blubaugh? After reading about his leaving and believing in worshiping angels, I just could not take this all in. How in the world could this have happened? Such a nice guy. Colossians 2:18 reads----"Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshiping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind." Any thoughts?

Grief often has unknown effects on people's minds! Steve was the worker in charge of the field when his uncle committed suicide. The horrible things that came upon that family are mind-numbing! Steve had to be the "strength" as a worker of the field as well as being a very close knit nephew! He also had a very young companion who was very badly affected by the suicide of Stephen's uncle. I feel that Stephen needs time and patience and love and mercy! Like we all do! We don't have to agree with or try to live like others, but giving of God's love from our hearts enables us to give mercy like we want mercy! I hope this helps you understand that your profession through whomever shouldn't make much difference in the end. Paul wrote about those who planted and those who watered but it is God who gives the increase! Best wishes!

I do believe it was his brother too that committed suicide. Satan is really at work these days. He must be laughing in Gods face when he can destroy one of Gods people. My prayers are with Steve . I lost a sister in 1999. She was my heart and I can imagine the pain that Steve went through also. She died at a young age [heart attack] and I still miss her very much. Thanks for answering my message.
