Yesterday one of the finest men in Dallas, TX passed away - Earl Reaves. He was always such a quiet, gentle soul and the true meaning of humility comes to mind each and every time I think of him. He is in a better place but my life is all the richer for having had the privilege of knowing he and his family. May God bless the Reaves family and comfort them.

Yes, the write up is for the correct Earl Reeves. He was a very fine man.
I knew the family also, and have had meals at their table. They lived a block from us at one time when we were living in in Dallas.

I do live in Texas, Pagrl. Went to the funeral today and Earl was described as "a prince among men". This is definitely a perfect way to describe him and what a tribute!
