During the past two months I have been forced to do some serious study into my fellowship in the "WAY" This study has come mostly as a result of comments made to me by workers in reference to "Salvation outside of the fellowship" and the fact they do no teach "Jesus as God incarnate." To clarify the last for some, Jesus is very much part of the God head and God is in the three persons; The Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost
As such Jesus is fully "God Incarnate in the Son." The workers indicated that they do not believe this.
Now for many years I questioned the lack of discussion or belief in salvation outside of the "way" and the lack of teaching or understanding the trinity. Even though the trinity is not mentioned in the bible it is very much affirmed and also is the "Incarnate Son, Emmanuel affirmed." Any simple study using basic bible dictionaries will confirm these issues.
With that said I have been thinking and praying about my rebuke to be sure that what has been laid upon my heart and mind is of God and the Holy Spirit. I go in circles and come back to the same place. Yes these issues are biblical and supported by scripture and as such would be incorrect for any preacher of the Gospel to deny. I have ignored these issues for many years for the sake of peace in the fellowship.
So then my questions come forth. Are the Workers really teaching false doctrine. I say indirectly yes. It is because they, as a result of indoctrination refuse to really study the issues. And if they do study the issues they remain silent like to maintain the status quo. How so I ask myself. Well let us take this example, which is the title of this thread.
From a friend, "I have a Closer Walk with God then others."
How can one have closer walk with God?
Either you are walking with God or you are not.
Galatians 2:15-17 (King James Version)
King James Version (KJV)

15 We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles,
16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
Ephesians 2:8-10
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
It seems that this statement is one of the main tenets of my brothers and sisters in the fellowship. A closer walk with God? I put off all the old man as best as possible in my regeneration. Yet I am still a sinner in the flesh. This is how it is.
This is why Jesus, The Christ went to the Cross and this is why I have accepted this Gift. We fail, We repent and we do not reject.

I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. I know Jesus to be the Son of God and God in the Son. I know that only through Jesus the Christ, Emmanuel "God in Human Form, The creator" that me the created was saved by the Creator.
Hence, can any one tell me how I can have a closer walk with God then any other Christian who has been Born Again like me?
Did I miss a turn some place in scripture?
