David Jenning's funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at the Boring, Oregon convention grounds at 10 a.m. (this is between Boring I and Boring II conventions)
The burial will follow directly after the service in a nearby cemetery.
His two sisters, Priscilla and Susan, have arrived from England to be at the service. Jay Wicks and Cheryl Emborg will have a part in the service.
David was appreciated by many during his time in and out of the work. He was a very kind man.

do you have an obituary or the circimstances of his death??? I hope that someone will post the notes to his service.
I was a young distraught mom when my Kenny passed away it was in the first week of December(It will be 22 years this Dec.) Special meeting time in Montana. Well I had called at least 4 workers and they were very adament that they would not be able to have the service for Kenny, but I was just as adament that I was going to have a worker perform the service. So I called one last person and I got David. He took time out of his busy schedule to do his best. I don't even remember what he said as I was so deep in grief, but I will always remember his willingness to go that extra mile. I sure hope that he is hugging Kenny up there, because he did so love little children and he was always so nice
Blessings, Misty

Blessings, Misty The best information I have is that David was crossing a small spillway on a creek dam with someone else. That person stopped suddenly, causing David to lose his balance and fall. The fall cracked his skull, broken a/some rib/s, etc. He had been doctoring for cancer, and this just finished him. If others have more or better information, please let us know. Best regards, Edy P.S. We also had the news that his brother Richard (of Flagstaff, Arizona), was visiting Great Britain and fell on the same day David did, breaking his hip.
