Do you have a favorite plant? Houseplant, shrub, tree, herb, etc... whatever it be please share. Mushrooms/fungi will be acceptable, too (even though they are not plants). Why is it your favorite plant? What is the species/common name? Did you name it like a pet? What role do plants play in your personal lives? Your family life? andy ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png)

I've had many different favorite plants, but the truth is, they all commit a very slow suicide around me.

I've had many different favorite plants, but the truth is, they all commit a very slow suicide around me. It is always sad when a plant commits suicide, despite our best efforts to alter the suicidal path. Maybe the plant killed itself due to the caretaker's neglect... the plant figured it would be better off dead rather than the incredibly infrequent watering that is just barely keeping it alive. ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png) I personally can't understand how people can't get plants to grow, yet they raise several kids. It's a mystery to me. *sigh* Thus is the troubled life of a genius. lol andy ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png)

Ooooooooh...now that's a difficult question.
I have many plant friends in my yard, but I would have to say that rosemary is my favorite. I love to run my hands through the branches, then smell my palms. And, then savoring meats and breads with it....ah!
Or, there are the lavender bushes at the front door...I like to run my hands through them, too. And when they blooms to pick the flowers and make sachets for the closets....ah!

I have many plant friends in my yard,..... "Plant friends"....I love that expression. I used to do very well with plants but lately the ones in my house are suffering. Probably from neglect somewhat and perhaps not enough light in the winter. I feel so guilty. But they often give me much comfort and enjoyment.

Well, they are perfect and they are His creation. I wouldn't call that "professing" though. ;D

Free the weed, indeed. It is a wrongfully outlawed substance, especially when alcohol causes far worse problems with society. andy ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png)
