Information from a very reliable source was sent to me a couple of weeks ago about a Florida worker. I have done some research and the facts are correct. It appears that there was an incident of sexual abuse with a young boy(under 10). This worker has been home "taking care of family" since the incident. This has not been reported to the authorities. The parents were encouraged to allow the head worker to handle the situation. I am wondering how long it will be before this worker shows back up...maybe in another state?

An overseer change is occuring in Florida at the moment. Ray Hoffman will be heading to Texas and Tom Nussbaum will be Florida's new head worker.

That is correct. This would have been during the time Ray was in charge.

Howdy, Lets hope that Tom Nussbaum takes on the kind of leadership role that Lyle Schober did here in Minnesota. I know that there are some folks who read here from Florida as they have been in contact with me. Perhaps they will be able to let us know how Tom handles this situation down there. If the facts are true, then Tom should be encouraging the parents to contact the authorities, rather then allowing the worker to 'rest' or 'take care of family'. Hopefully one of those who are professing there in Florida will contact the family and let them know how a similar situation was handled here in Minnesota. This could pertain also to the 'ex worker' in Saskatchewan who was kicked out of the work in Manitoba, and is now undergoing counseling rather than being turned in to the authorities there. Perhaps someone could let Tom know we are watching to see how this situation will be handled? If anyone has information concerning this they don't want to post here, feel free to contact me at: bescottross@aol.com I'll be happy to share some information with them as to how Juli, John and I (plus those professing folks behind the scenes) handled this same situation here in Minnesota.
