My wife, Ylva, was born and raised in Stockholm. While her parents were living, family vacations were usually spent with them. I was in the 2&2 "work" there many years ago, but haven't been there now for over a decade. Could not accompany Ylva on her last trip "home." Through Ylva, we have many family members still residing there, and many other people we love.

Here on our side of Sweden (west side with Gothenburg, Swedens second largest city) we say that Stockholm (Swedens largest city, and the capital) is the back side of Sweden -- which of course they won't agree with!! Whoever is asking -- is Gotheburg good enough??

Whoever is asking -- is Gotheburg good enough?? I visited Sweden in the early 90s and it was a beautiful trip. I didn't see Göteborg but Stockholm was pretty with all the water and its buildings placed around it. The subway is kind of fascinating too. If it wasn't so expensive, I would have stayed longer. 62 crowns for a beer in the city is a rip-off.

Are there many two by two's In Sweden ? As far as I am aware not very many. Edgar might be able to answer more accurately. Around 4 or 5 pairs of workers. Maybe 100 friends?

Actually, teenager, there are more workers and friends in Sweden than you state!
The workers also are exchanged between the other Nordic countries, as all nearly all speak at least one other language. Its kind of difficult to separate the list into definite countries because of this.

But going by the latest information I have the number of pairs of workers etc. I would'nt say that the figure is much higher, maybe more friends, and yes a few more workers!

Believe me, there are more than you state - I live here! Although, if you compare the amount of friends here to the number in Ireland......we definitely are fewer, so you win ! Best wishes stockholmare

And I thought 12 Swissies for a c o c k tail was bad.
