Workers often speak about "correction" being given in a convention. And how the friends should accept correction with the "write spirit" or something like that. Don't you agree that some workers are too quick to correct or chastise their friends? Comfort and love have the same effect. Were you ever chastised by a worker?

I could accept correction with the "right" not "write" spirit if it was something that needed correcting. And the opposite also should work. But I cannot take correction from some young worker who isn't even dry behind the ears just because they think that now I am a worker, I am boss. That is not the way it is supposed to be. Sorry folks.

guest5. If some worker comes to you and corrects you over some issue then it is not for you to decide if he or she is "dry behind the ears." The issue is whether what that worker says is correct. Even children can correct us sometimes.

Even children can correct us sometimes. How true bert! In 2001, I learned about William Irvine and some of the other controversy in Truth. It all hit me so fast that I chose to go into denial, telling myself that "finding out that Truth is not perfect will be easier when my kids are grown". So I burried my head. Then about 2 weeks ago, I received an anonymous email with a short message reminding me of my deliberate and self-elected blindness. It angered me and troubled me. I prayed about it but then again chose to ignore it. The very next day, my 8yo daughter asked me; "Mommy; Emily says she loves Jesus", and then proceeded to explain in great detail what Jesus meant to Emily - and I honestly think little Emily knows Jesus better than my daughter or I, and then concluded with "Why will Emily go to a lost eternity just because she doesn't know the workers? Isn't it good enough to know Jesus?" At that moment, looking into the eyes of my 8yo daughter, I had the most moving experience I've ever had in my life. It all came together. The focus is Jesus! And all this from the mouth of a babe. (The chill bumps were so bad they actually hurt! Whooo! I tried to hide my reaction from my daughter but just by looking into my eyes, she knew something was the matter. With tears in her eyes she asked me if I was going to be alright. *hugs*) I have been on my journey for a little over a week now, and I have the Grace and Mercy of my Lord and Savior, a random email, and the simple minds and hearts of two little girls to thank for it. Thank God for the miracles in our lives. The email that pricks my conscience then the divine words uttered by an 8yo. Who says the age of miracles is dead?!!! (Now as I read over what I have just written, I realize that this is the first testimony from the heart I've given in 15 years. What a wonderful journey this is.)

What it is, is unity instead of uniformity. God's people don't look alike they have the faith, spirit and communication with their master, and when you see this in others, you know that they are one of God's children.
Glad that your are seeing things in a different light, and now you will know joy like never before. As a little child, that is what we need to be.
Love in Him Kathy

And didn't it feel GOOD to give this "testimony" because the Holy Spirit led you and NOT because you felt OBLIGATED because the workers expected it. Praise God for using your daughter to speak to your heart. A child shall lead them.........

No, but I was barred from waiting tables at Malcom conv. in the early 70s because my hair was too long. So I redecorated the men's sleeping quarters instead.

Wish you had gotten it 15 years ago. It really doesn't matter what church or fellowship you are in, if your testimony isn't from the heart, it is empty. I pray more testimonies come from the heart regularly.

If you tell them you believe people in "other churches" could be saved, they will likely use the rod!

People don't usually get formally exed for the suggestion that God is capable of blessing people outside 2x2ism. But openly suggesting this will result in a bright red warning label -- and then every thought and action in the future will be scrutinized to find fault -- every oppurtunity to miscredit such a person will be taken advantage of -- every oppurtunity to socially isolate this person will be used. This will either influence a change of views -- or effectively crowd them out of fellowship. It is text book description of the working of a cult!!!

I just do not believe that now. I have spoken to those in E,W,N,S USA and 5 different Countries and have similar stories and accounts. Some just remain asleep because it is to hard to admit.

Bert - Maybe you would take correction from some young worker but I still say I would not. If something is that bad that I need correction, more likely than not an older worker would be along and in charge. When I speak of "not dry behind the ears" it is like the youngster going out in our area in September. No, I would not and could not accept correction from that person. One who was told they couldn't even be accepted in the work until they leave their folks and get out on their own. Not too much experience there now is there. I will stick with my idea and you can have yours which is normal on this board.

You daughter and her friend "know" alot more than the adults around them. Good for you for laying aside old programming and hearing what she is telling you.
Another clue that your daughter is more "aware", is your description of her looking deep into your eyes. There is a measurable event that happens when we connect with each others eyes. Anyone who pooh poos this has not been reconnected themselves in this manner.
Keep listening for your messages. Thanks for posting your very real experience.
The love and truths from my children is part of my healing journey into Light.
PS I would have posted this to you personally, but you were not logged on...

Could you explain more abut this? I don't understand...however, I do have difficulty looking people in their eyes.
Thanx, CK

Developed by Dr. Kenneth Fabian of Portales, NM, NI consists of a connection between the eyes, the brain, and the pineal gland.
The connection between the pineal gland (a higher order brain function) and the basal brain (including the limbic system) is immature in most humans. These and other brain functions normally make mature connection in the first 60 - 90 days of life. In a modern society where babies are delivered in hospitals and kept fro their mothers for extended periods of time, those bonding moments are reduced or happen not at all. Dr. Fabian discovered that only an integrated person can integrate another person who is not integrated by 3 months old.
That means, if your mother was not neurologically integrated, she would be unable to NI her children at the time of their births. Children and animals like to stare into each others eyes. Watch them. It is a "brain connecting event".
This results in our deep emotions contained in the primary areas of the psyche are experienced without comprehending or an ability to deal with them. When NI occurs, the upper brain makes complete communication with the lower or primary brain. This then joins the physical, emotional and mental brain. It also connects prebirth, post-birth and early development stages with present time. (so you can live "in the moment" instead of reacting to a current event with old responses).
I have felt myself begin to knit together on all levels of my being, after having this experience. It is an incredible feeling. If you wish to know more, please feel free to contact me.

...sigh....
....new age...
Jesus practiced so called new age techniques. I do not know if he used Neurological Integration on people. So, I'm not sure....
However, I do know NI is based in science and research, as I tried to point out. You can read into it what you wish.
All I know is, it works. It assists people to get over their traumas, fears, and problems. It is free. It requires nothing more than one person looking into anothers eyes in a specific way. And it works.

Does correction mean jumping on someone? A child misses a math problem and his or her teacher shows him the correct answer so he/she does the problem again. I have seen workers raise their voices and scold their friends over trivial things like talking too loud after meeting, long testimonies, etc..
There is no reason for a worker to raise his or her voice. And it probably won't help. Just creates tension and breaches the trust between servant and saint.
