talk to a Jehovah witness who comes to your door. or have a discussion with a Mormon, a catholic, a Sikh, a Hindu, a Buddhist, to name a few. They all claim with out a doubt that they have seen the truth. They all claim a special connection with God. They all claim that everyone else is heading down a road to certain hell. I have also heard the same things said by some who attend meetings. I have thought recently that maybe a true member of any religion that has a real connection with God really is the answer. When I mean true, I mean basically honest, not racist, unbiased, loving our neighbor as God loves us. I mean really, the whole religious world is really screwed up and isn't making the world at all a good place to live. Aim sure that God sees good people with good hearts wherever they may be and recognizes them for their efforts. thanks

I think asking people about their experience with God and what he did is a real simple way to find out what is going on with them. If they describe a person or group and not God and Jesus. Have they been born again, or sold a doctrine.
Testimony, that is what I have for others. God made me a witness to him. Go be a witness, not a sucker. Go get the story straight from God's mouth.....................Jesus Accept no substitutes.

They all claim that everyone else is heading down a road to certain hell. The Catholic Church does not claim that everyone else is heading down a road to certain hell.

the catholic church has many problems other than maybe not claiming others are going to hell. they are having to sell churches all over north America for the actions of weird priests.

The Catholic Church does not claim that everyone else is heading down a road to certain hell. [/quote] But it does claim that non-Catholics are gravely deficient for not practicing Catholic sacraments and that we will have to answer to God someday for rejecting the Pope as our spiritual authority on matters of faith and morals and for rejecting the church that Jesus came to establish.

If God is the head of the Catholic Church, what do we need a Devil for?

They all claim that everyone else is heading down a road to certain hell. The Catholic Church does not claim that everyone else is heading down a road to certain hell. Are they just stopping of at purgatory on the way?
