I have it on good authority that the workers in a few midwest states are putting resources in place to increase security at their conventions. It would seem they don't want a repeat of last year when notes were distributed to the friends in attendance at these conventions.
So watch your step people because Big Brother is watching you.

It must be pretty stealthy... I was there and didn't see anything different...
Just remember though, God is watching... and he knows all and will reward you for your works.

Since these are private gatherings on private property, do you think it is okay to disrespect the folks who are at conventions, with plac eing propaganda in their bible cases, vehicles, and/or sleeping spaces?? As Christians, aren't we to be respectful of others and not invade others spaces? Is it wrong to protect these conventions from those who just want to bring unrest?

Naaaah. No more than the workers who borrow or rent a room from a church then deliver a 30 minute sermon condemning that same church. Yes. Would this not include respecting them enough to free them from blindness? I used to be a 2x2 then a convention note kicked me in the pants and put me on the road to liberation. I'm glad the person who gave me the note had enough respect for me to trust me to do what was right with it. Oh? Book, chapter, verse, please! Genuine unrest? I would say.... yes. But is it unrest? The note I got freed me of unrest. I've never been more at peace than I am right now. In fact, the only thing that bothers me now is that more people don't know the truth about Truth so they can have the liberty I enjoy.

"Oh? Book, chapter, verse, please!"
...does this sound slightly familiar?
...Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
...that has something to do with "invading" other's space!!!

When I went to convention a couple yrs ago my friend had to stop at the place you pull in the drive way and stop to tell them I was with her. I was in a car behind her following. They had 2 men that stepped in the driveway everytime a car pulled in.

LOL. That's great Syd. I'll have to remember that!!! Here's another: Q: Did you know it mentions cars in the bible? A: The bible says the Children of Israel prayed in one Accord.

Jesus was considered a troublemaker too. It goes with the territory. Gotta shake up the faithless to see what they cling to. (Love or fear) It gives them a chance. They need a chance to overcome those who have taken them captive for the sake of their pride and vanity. What can Jesus do when the workers teach them to fear and run from Truth? Some will raise their heads up from the sand and see Jesus. Others are too afraid and will forever be ruled by fear. (A human emotion) not spiritual love.

Here's a good question you might think about: Is it wrong to tell lies, brainwash people and hide from the truth? Brad Brad, Since you have asked a question, I will try to answer you as politely as possible. You believe that what is preached in meetings and in conventions is "lies, brainwashing and hiding the truth", and you have the right to think that. The fact is, that is an opinion, your opinion - that doesn't mean it is a fact or the truth of the matter. Brad, you have chosen to leave the f&w's meetings - and that is your right - especially about how you feel toward them. BUT - this doesn't give anyone the right to "trespass" on their property to leave "notes, letters, and etc." However, you may have the right to picket on public areas in the vicinity of the convention place with proper permits and permission. I strongly believe I have been kind and gentle with you, and hope you will offer me the same, if you so choose to respond.

Have you considered that those positioned at the gates of the Convention grounds might be there to greet and help with parking? My children attend a school where they always have staff or volunteers positioned at the entrances to welcome and assist anyone coming to the school for an event. Since it is a private school they are always anxious to meet visitors and make them comfortable on the campus.
Even Wallmart has greeters....Let's look at the positive side.
