WOW! I have NEVER seen such an active "EX-religion" board - I guess I need to check it out some more to see why??? Anyone know of an equally active ex-catholic one?

There are recovering Catholics, recovering Mormons, recovering Jehovah Witnesses, recovering Branch Davidians, etc.... You can find support groups on the internet for recovering people from all manner of cults and sects. Oddly enough, there are current members who frequent these sites attempting to keep the former members mentally enslaved. These current members serve to provide a concrete example of why we must seek recovery from the effects of cultisms.
Its a shame that parents can't realize that their children will need to recover from their childhoods in these cults.
