I don't think many senior workers who have been in the work several years understand the problems of their friends! They don't understand raising children, working at public work, and all. Some have high expectations for their friends. They expect them to get to every meeting possible and have open homes for them. They can't help themselves. They are divorced from reality. They haven't walked in their friends shoes. Maybe the friends don't understand their workers either.

I do think it is helpful for there to be open communication and for workers to take some time off now and then to be with family and friends as non-workers. NO workers don't have the same kinds of everyday things to deal with as the friends, but the friends also do not FULLY understand what life in the work is like.

I agree that many of the friends do not understand the everyday problems and concerns in the lives of workers. This is because the realities of being in the work are far different from the version that workers are taught to describe it as. I believe that this is the reason that poor nerves are such a common ailment amongst workers -- It is an enormous strain on the nervous system, trying to personally syncronize the dire realities of a workers personal lives, with the description of their lives that cult propaganda demands that they are to spread, of what it is like to be 'a servant of God'

My niece upon entering the work made the statement, "I didn't realize it would be so... HUMAN!"

My niece upon entering the work made the statement, "I didn't realize it would be so... HUMAN!" I find this really funny, as well as sad. As a kid, I had this notion that everything worker-related happened magically, just like how God supposedly created the earth. Now I realise there is nothing magic about any of it. Even the cooperative spirit of the friends doing their chores at convention is nothing more than learned behaviour. If any social group had an annual event with community responsibilites to which the children were apprenticed, it would similarly run like clockwork.

Quote from brainwashed..... Nothing worse then a senior worker thats brainwashed.
Quote from me...... Nothing worse than a false preacher. They know they are wrong "well most do " and still continue the deceit.
