I professed nearly 3 decades but today I heard a worker from Australia (David Saunders) admit to making a mistake as a young worker. He gave a young man a worker talk and the young man became angry. The young man was dating a professing girl. The young man was kind of wild. It was over 14 years ago and DS felt bad about the incident. He said he would like to write the young man today even though he didn't know where he was.
First time I have heard a worker specifically admit to a mistake while being in the work.

He will probably have to turn in car keys, policy handbook, etc. etc.

Good for the workers and friends to hear one of their servants admit to a mistake while in the WORK. Many professing folks think the workers ALWAYS make the right decision.

Well, if you take your blinkers off, remove your stereotypes, banish your caricatures, see people for who they really are, and be honest with yourself then you will see that in our church we all confess to making mistakes.

Well, if you take your blinkers off, remove your stereotypes, banish your caricatures, see people for who they really are, and be honest with yourself then you will see that in our church we all confess to making mistakes. It has happened, that individual workers will admit personal error, but never to an error in group policy --- But 2x2 doctrine has painted itself into a box so that it is impossible for them ever to admit that 'the work' as an institution has ever made a mistake -- this is because they believe that the work represents God, and God can't make mistakes. However unChristianly horrible the decisions of some of the highest 2x2 councils have proven to be, they ARE NEVER confessed as being wrong. (because to them it is God that has made them). A perfect example of this is the enormous scope of mass excommunications in Alberta a few years ago -- it was approved by the very top of 2x2 hierarchy, and thus however unGodly , anti-Christian and extrememly counter productive it has been for the whole group, it has unquestionably proven to be -- no one will ever admit that it was wrong -- because that would be condemning God!!!!! I have communicated with a large number of workers involved, who will in private express that it should never have been done ... but publicly must support the system (even in its corruption) Edgar For instance do you think that the folks slandered and exed because of a TV at home a few years ago, will ever receive an apology, now even when 90% of the friends in some areas openly own one and are regarded as hearty? I remember folks kick out because of a radio 40 years ago, now most workers cars have radios -- but nobody blinks an eye. Hypocrisy and dishonesty in the maximum -- but part of 2x2ism.
