I know of no one who knows the name of the mother of Wm Irvine's son, Archibald (Archie) Irvine. Wm Irvine never married.

C'mon Lloyd. That woman looks a little old doesn't she. Even if she and Willie I. got together a few years before she appears a little old.

I know of no one who knows the name of the mother of Wm Irvine's son, Archibald (Archie) Irvine. Wm Irvine never married. Oh my stars! Are you indicating that Wm. Irvine had a bass-tard child? That is most outrageous NOT to mention scandalous. Has anyone reported this to the SOTS (Sisters Of Temperence Society)? There are bi-laws with regards to extramarital affairs, fornications, sexual immorality and perversion, and that includes Fathers Of Bastard Children (FOBC). The SOTS are strongly encouraged to discipline FOBC's and keep sexual immorality under control, as we all know- it is highly FROWNED upon by all WORKERS!

Speaking of pictures, I found it interesting recently when I was looking at some very old pictures of some "professing" family as well as some non F&W relatives during the same time period. When looking at these pictures I was asking who various people were. The pictures were old (great grand parents etc.) I could not appreciate any difference in those with F&W and those not based on appearances because all the women looked similar.
It was neat to look at such old pictures of my relatives and it also hit me that the differences in appearance that I noticed growing up in my professing relatives were not present a few generations previously between F&W and those not "professing" with them.

I do not think now the photo is 2x2 because The 2x2 belief is in the male worker first then the Lady workers so I have my doubts...If William Irvine was married we surely would of heard about it

What really happened is that when the first workers hit the shores of North America and Australia in the early 1900's they came from an area that was more advanced in fashion. This set them up to become the fashion standard setters in the new lands.
As time went on, America took over the dominant position in the world that Great Britain once had, militarily after World War II, then via the television media center of Hollywood, California in the '60s.
In the Truth fellowship, though, the original fashions of the 1900's stuck on much longer because of the "unchanging" doctrine that is preached and somewhat misinterpreted to be specifically applicable to fashion.
Certainly, modesty, being conservative, simple and reasonable shoud be the leading element of fashion in the Truth.
