These questions are for bert, GloryInTruth, and Nathan9. If other members of the "Truth" church would like to add their input, please feel free.
What must I do to be saved?
Is there someone I must believe in? If so, Who?
Is there someone I must believe through? If so, Who?
Is there something(s) I must believe in? If so, What?
Is there something(s) I must believe through? If so, What?
Is there some attitude(s) I must adopt? If so, What?
Is there some belief(s) I must adopt? If so, What?
Is there some behavior(s) I must adopt? If so, What?
Is there some ritual(s) I must perform? If so, What?
Is there anything else I must do? If so, What?
How do I know when I am saved?
What indications of my salvation will be made manifest?
Can I lose my salvation? If so, How?
Can I get my salvation back? If so, How?
When is my salvation guaranteed?
Is there anything else I should know about my salvation?
These are serious questions and I would genuinely appreciate any answers you have time to provide. I'm not here to debate you so, out of respect for your opinions, I will not be responding to this thread again except for the purpose of clarification, if needed.
Thanks for your time and I look forward to your reply.

What must I do to be saved?
"Repent and be baptised in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved".
You need to believe in your heart that Jesus is risen from the dead, and that he was the Son of the Living God. Through faith in his life, death and resurrection, God will grant you the gift of eternal life.
Is there someone I must believe in? If so, Who?
You must believe with all your heart, mind, strength and soul in the one true God, who is manifest in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost.
Is there someone I must believe through? If so, Who?
You believe through the work of the Holy Ghost, which comes through the preaching of the Gospel by those holy men and women "who have been sent", which is to say, the Workers - the Servants of the Most High God.
Is there some attitude(s) I must adopt? If so, What?
The attitude of repentance, and those summarised in the list of beatitudes in the Sermon on the Mount.
Is there some ritual(s) I must perform? If so, What?
You must make a public declaration of the most precious Faith which "was once and for all delivered unto the saints" and which the Church has recieved, and you must participate in the holy rite of Baptism, in which you are baptised in the name "of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost" as an enactment of death and resurrection into a new life.
Is there anything else I must do? If so, What?
You must persevere in the faith: "Those who endure to the end, the same shall be saved".
How do I know when I am saved?
"We know we are of God when we love the children of God". Love for the fellow disciples of Christ, and love for God, and a willingness to keep his commandments "which are not grevious to us".
Can I lose my salvation? If so, How?
You can make a false profession; you can be among the people of God but not "of" the people of God, but it is not possible for those who have truly been saved to lose their salvation.
We know if a person was never truly saved when they remove themselves from the Church.
Can I get my salvation back? If so, How?
God predestinates all men to eternal life or eternal death. If you are not predestinated to life, you will never be saved.
When is my salvation guaranteed?
From before the foundation of the world, when God predestinated men to salvation and life. God does not repent of his gifts.
Is there anything else I should know about my salvation?
That there is no one "salvific event". Salvation is an on-going process in three tenses. We are saved in the past ("by grace ye have been saved"), we are saved in the present ("those of us who are being saved by the power of God"), and we will be saved in the future, ("Look up, for your redemption draweth nigh"). The fullest measure of salvation is yet to be realised.

Well, it looks like GIT doesn't believe you have to profess through a worker or go to meetings. He didn't say anything about them. so maybe this week believes that belief in the saving grace of Christ is sufficient. I wonder if he be saying something different the next time he posts.

These questions are for bert, GloryInTruth, and Nathan9. If other members of the "Truth" church would like to add their input, please feel free. 1) What must I do to be saved?~~ Jesus said to Nicodemus in John 3:5 Verily, Verily I say unto thee, Except a man be born of the water, and of the Spirit, he can not enter into the kingdom of heaven."
John 3:16 Jesus said "For God so loved the world, that he have his only begotten Son, that Whosover! believes in Him should NOT perish but have everlasting life."
Jesus said, "This is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou has sent." (Jh:17:3)
~~ To be saved is to accept Jesus as the Lord God and Savior in your heart by making Him the Master in your life.2) Is there someone I must believe in? If so, Who?~~~ Jesus Christ, the Son of God and the Son of Man is the ONLY one who can SAVE us. It is He you and I must believe is the Lord God and Savior.3) Is there someone I must believe through? If so, Who?~~ How did the people in the days of Jesus heard about Jesus? How did the Jews and Gentiles heard about Jesus in the 1st century? The people heard about Jesus through him going to different towns, villages preaching the goodnews! and those who believe in Him and his Gospel are SAVED. After Jesus left the earth and went back to heaven it was the apostles and disciples of Jesus who had the privilege in preaching the Gospel of Jesus as the Christ and those who believed in their messages were SAVED. (Read the book of Acts). 4) Is there something(s) I must believe in? If so, What?~~~ In the days of Jesus and apostles the believers believed Jesus was the Christ! and they also believed Jesus' apostles and disciples were sent from God. (Acts 16:16,17)~~~ These are my answers for now. I might answer the rest later when I have more time.

Well, I'm not Nathan, or Bert, or Gloryintruth, but I just wanted to add my two cents worth. It always amazes me how simple Jesus's answer was to this question. When he was asked what one had to do to have eternal life, he said, "If thou will enter into life, keep the commandments." When asked which ones, he said, "Thou shalt do no murder, thou shalt not commit adultery, thou shalt not steal, thou shalt not bear false witness, honor thy father and mother, and love thy neighbor as thyself."

Is it really that simple? Not one man has ever been able to keep ANY of them. Ever. But the One who was perfect, fully God and fully man. Christ's Forever, Jessi

"Then he called for a light and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house."

"Then he called for a light and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." But there's even more . . . Acts 16:32And they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house.
33And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their wounds; and he was baptized at once, he and all his family.
34Then he brought them up into his house and set food before them. And he rejoiced along with his entire household that he had believed in God.Seems after the initial shock about who he should believe in--THE LORD JESUS CHRIST--they continued on to preach to him who was Jesus, expounding to him and his family the "word of the Lord." Then, they baptize him and the change in him is already evident, and his good works have begun, as he dresses their wounds and feeds them. The thing that shocked me when I read this for the first time with new eyes and open heart was that the man BELIEVED IN GOD, when the disciples told him he must BELIEVE IN JESUS. Of course, this has to mean that at the end of it all, the man's true saving faith came from his belief that Jesus is God. The thing that told him this was the "WORD OF THE LORD" which was preached to him as the disciples expounded from the Scriptures. Christ's Forever, Jessi

From www.netbiblestudy.net/new_page_10.htm"Many people believe that redemptive faith is merely a willing disposition to trust in Christ as their personal savior, independent of any further acts of obedience. This notion is completely alien from the truth found in the Bible. A belief that will not accept and do all that God tells us to do is not enough. If this is the case, then we are no better than the devils in James 2:19, "You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the devils believe and tremble!" The devils believe in God and they tremble, but this does not save them.
