For how many of you here does GIT bring out anger? Not me. What brings out anger from me is personal attacks, not someone's beliefs.

And quick too! It's his attitude. Personal attacks...how much more personal can you get than telling others they're headed for hell?

And quick too! It's his attitude. Personal attacks...how much more personal can you get than telling others they're headed for hell? That is what he believes. Why does that matter to you? A belief is not the same as a personal attack. This next sentence is a personal attack. You are a freakin' moron for getting upset about someone else's belief system.

You call me a "freakin' moron"....Personal attack?? LOL Sounds to me like you're the one who's upset maybe? Hey, I believe in voicing an opinion, but if it's unpopular, don't be surprised and whine when people don't agree with you.

If someone feels very strongly about his/her opinion...they generally don't mind if it's unpopular or not. M.

And if they come in with a strong opinion of all outside of the 2x2 way going to hell, they can EXPECT a little opposition.

Anger is an emotion. It's ok to be angry. We have anger for a reason. There is a reason for every emotion we have. If 2x2ism hadn't been such a big part of our lives, then there would be no emotion, no anger, no love, nothing.

It must be difficult to make it through life if anger is a person's reaction to a difference of opinion.

Personal opinions are fine. Just as an example, and not my "real" personal opinion, but for example, if I thought everyone over 45 was ugly, maybe I should be careful how I state that opinion when I go in to an old folks home? Ya suppose???

If GIT isn't looking for a fight, what's he doing in here egging it on by telling ex 2x2's they belong to the devil?

Ironically, I have been told I belong to the devil for a long time. I have learned to accept the comments of exes without too much umbrage - for example: being told the Workers preach a false gospel, that we are cultists, that we do not worship God alone, and that we need to repent or we will be lost, and even that we are devil-worshippers. In the opinion of many exes on this forum I am hellbound. This is an openly proclaimed view.
When I make the comment that "juding from the tone of the rhetoric on this forum, many exes belong to the devil" it suddenly becomes a terrible thing. Perhaps some people are just being a little too sensitive. I've learned to live with it, as has Nathan, Bert and other 2x2's for whom abuse is routine experience.
I suggest you grow up.

GIT...
At least he is logical about what he is writing. I may not like what he has to write, but I would honestly say that he thinks things through and states his beliefs in a well put fashion.
Now on the other hand...
BERT... ARRRGGGHHH.. angers me.
He often answers with little quip remarks which are not logical. Half the time they have nothing to do with the statements/questions you wrote. I get the feel he just answers/states things to be antagonizing.

In a nutshell, we have GIT telling us :
A) that exes are doomed to hell
B) to grow up

I don't have the most compassionate feelings when I read GIT's posts either. I guess this is a huge flaw in my nature. I feel like he "talks down" to everyone. It could be his little remarks like, "Grow up" and that "most ex's belong to the devil". I've noticed that some people's posts give me a heart-warming feeling because you can feel the love that person has for others. Fancy language doesn't impress me but a humble nature does. I think GIT would get more respect if he were to show respect to others.

I strongly agree with this... it's these people I like read. It makes me feel good, it's uplifting. Some folks here are spiritual, CIT is religious.
