This message has been moved to Jump On Board by Admin. This thread has been moved to the closed board, away from the prying eyes of google, because it mentions by name a living Worker (or maybe ex-Worker now?). But it raises some questions, so open for wider discussion here (but keep names on the other place, please): - If all Workers who are having/had 'consensual' relations with adults (male or female) are to be removed from The Work, how many will be left standing?
- How consensual are such adult sexual relations between a Worker and church member? And how would anyone know?
- Should any person who gets excommunicated from the church, or booted from The Work, be named on the open internet? [in the past, people got booted for hair (mainly women but probably some men in the Beatles era) or wearing pants (again women, these days it's more men for not wearing their pants it seems) or 'false doctrine' etc.]
- Should formal church announcements of Worker status (see CherieKropp's post below) be more clear about what the status of such Workers is (in or out of fellowship, preaching or not, etc.) - rather than cloudy/grey/obfuscation maybe moved elsewhere, 'resting', vanished, whatever?

Dear friends in Minnesota and Iowa, We are collectively sorry for lapses in communication in the past. We are working together to correct this. We are sorry for the confusion and uncertainty you have felt. Around 15 years ago there was an allegation against [Worker] regarding a relationship with an adult woman. Some of the concern is with how it was handled. Monday [Worker] returned early from his Orient tour because of this issue. He is stepping aside from the work and will be going to his brother's home in another state. We want to assure you the case is not closed. We will keep you posted as this develops. Please do not hesitate to reach out to any worker you feel comfortable with to answer questions or share concerns. Shari Stamps and John Simons are available as a resource for the S. Minneapolis field. With sincere care, The IA/MN staff

Has he been removed? When brought to the leaders originally the attempt was to silence. Seems this event is still not clear. Happened 15 years ago. The story was put out, not by the victim but a friend of the victim. How can we figure this one out?
