I was told growing up that he brought the gospel to the U.S from England. He was the head worker through out the U.S and his influence was felt at all the conventions. Hated Red or bright colors thus the Black stockings. Did he form the 2x2 as they are today? And was he one of the workers that kicked William Irvine,Eddie Coony out?

Nitro - if you would read my on-line book, you would know the answer to all your questions. Also the Secret Sect. RE: I was told growing up that he brought the gospel to the U.S from England. ***No, he was from Ireland. RE: He was the head worker through out the U.S ***No - just the Eastern USA; Jack Carrol was over the Western states, and at first one of the Jardine bros. controlled some of the central states. RE: his influence was felt at all the conventions. Hated Red or bright colors thus the Black stockings. ***Black stockings did not come out of hatred for bright colors. Were entirely different matters RE: And was he one of the workers that kicked William Irvine,Eddie Cooney out? ***For your answer, read Chapters 5 & 14: home.earthlink.net/%7Etruth333/index-WmIBook.html
