Some say that workers don't need to discuss doctrine.
But many Christian preachers discuss doctrine to arrive at conclusions and improve their understanding of God.
Is it wrong to discuss doctrine among preachers?
Can people be magicly led to preach the right thing by relying on the spirit they feel led by?

Can people be magicly led to preach the right thing by relying on the spirit they feel led by? If one were to use the 2x2 ministry as an example, then the answer to this question would be no...

Your answer lies in Acts 16:4 -5.
"And as they went through the cities, they delivered them the decrees for to keep, that were ordained of the apostles and elders which were at Jerusalem.
And so were the churches established in the faith, and increased in number daily."
ALSO:-
Acts 15: 6
"And the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this matter."

Seems to me there was that element soon after Jesus departed that had their own agenda and desired to cause division and not to encourage Gods people. I think today that there are groups which want to point out the differences which encourages division and not the edifying of others for what God has done for them. Perhaps you might be in such a group. Some individual wells have been poisened with mans teaching and they can't have sweet fellowship with any outside their group. Just my thoughts.

Studying and discussing scripture is NEVER a bad thing. Scripture is the word of god. It is for us to live by. We need to seek, learn, gain wisdom, and understand.

If you are called to preach or teach the Word of God. It must be under the 'unction to function', the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. You cant preach what man tells you to preach. Its Gods kingdom that is being established not mans!!!! The Holy Spirt is equiped and capable of revealing to you what to preach. Even though its mixed with your personality and humour and life experience. God uses it to open hearts, convict lives, heal bodies, deliver souls and encourage the body of Christ. A good teacher/preacher will have spent time in prayer/fasting and the Word of God to be ready for what they are about to do under the leading of the Holy Spirit. Magic has no place in what I am describing. There are 'other ' spirits other than the Holy Spirit who can lead people astray.

Seems like Jesus himself did this too. He must've been a hate monger. He told people that if they didn't repent that they would go to hell. He divided the people and got really picky about what the old testament meant. But I like him. Sorry if you don't. I don't have to believe everything and if you don't like that it doesn't make me "not nice". It just means you don't like it. -not Paul
