...in the light of how many negative threads we usually have here. We do have the odd positive one as well, but oh...you know what I mean, I'm not going to overexplain it.
We all know that the Psalms are uplifting...but I was reminded of it again tonight. I was reading there because I could really use the boost just now...and some of the chapters bring tears to my eyes...just wonderful. If you find *yourself* needing a boost...go back to the Psalms...no doubt. I enjoyed 27 in particular tonight, but so many of them are fantastic it's really difficult to choose.
IN ADDITION: I have quite a temper at times. I think Selah/Linda and those like her really have the right idea...if anything, 'kill' them with kindness, don't let (whoever) bring you down to his/her level. I apologize for my actions/words over the past couple of months, at times, in this forum. I even apologize to you, Bradley. I don't appreciate the words you use and the way you try to get your points across (nor will I *ever), but I guess you have the right to your opinion same as anyone else. I guess I just wish you could change your delivery a bit...I don't anticipate it, but it doesn't hurt to wish for it! At any rate, I am going to refrain (as much as possible...everyone has a slip on the odd occasion!!!) from responding to such threads or to being rude to anyone on here, and I hope you will forgive me for anything that may have irritated you that I wrote in the past. I would like to have a more tender heart, so I may as well start now. Mich
(Still a very favorite hymn of mine...215 I believe...Tender Heart)
Just as a final sidenote (this is a 'say it all' post I guess!) I am having a rather difficult time right now, and I don't care to discuss...but I would appreciate any/all prayers. Ty. M.
