Dennis Prager is denying students the right to be the individuals that the Constitution gives them the right to be.
The right to be proud of their heritage, -proud of where their parents came from and the right to be nurtured and encouraged to feel free to be who they are and not have to conform to what other people think.
Does he just want to turn out of cookie cutter people that can be further controlled by whatever the establishment wants them to be?
Why does Prager feel the need to put students only into narrow confining boxes?
America is NOT really the great "melting pot" as it is called. Why should we NOT appreciate our heritage & individuality?

Heard it all before. Prager is against much of the progress we have made in educating the whole child and giving them the information they need in their everyday lives .
Also Teachers who can interact with students in more personal manner makes the student more comfortable and it easier for the student to absorb what s being taught.
That can be often just as important as the academics. (somethings more so because that they aren't going to be able to use the academic knowledge they do get because of the lack of sex education thathey didn't get!.

Being concerned about Race, Color, Sex, Gender etc. is not conducive to learning what you need to study in school. Those things are best handled at home amongst family and friends.

Isn't the results of that method one of the reasons we are in such a mess already about some issues? If all we ever learned come from one generation trying to teach the next generation would mankind as a whole ever learn a lot? First, -most "family and friends" haven't enough knowledge on those subjects to present them adequately.Second, -for most "family and friends" it would not mean "teaching" anything but rather just passing on their own skewed lack of understanding about "Race, Color, Sex, Gender."Third, -the worst reason of all is that relying on "family and friends" to pass on the knowledge about "Race, Color, Sex, Gender" would often simply mean they would pass on their own prejudiced preconceived opinions that are not based on reason against people who are different.
