bert,
based on your posts, it sounds like you live in the middle of nowhere and have very little contact with the Friends and Workers...
do you attend a convention annually?
how large is your local fellowship meeting?
how many professing people do you have direct contact (in person) with on a monthly bases?

Hi, I don't wish to identify myself here, but....
quote - do you attend a convention annually? Most of the time - distance and health come into it.
quote - how large is your local fellowship meeting? We don't live in a town, and the nearest town has no church of any sort. But we are used to traveling long distances. Our meeting is average sized. Don't know... maybe 20 or more, haven't thought to count them before.
quote - how many professing people do you have direct contact (in person) with on a monthly bases? That's basis, not bases! But some friend's home are bases to us when we go somewhere. The drought here has made it hard for us, and we haven't been out much. Last week I visited several homes because I was on the road. It varies wildly. We have friends here as I speak.

I see that Bert has just confirmed that a) he is ill and b) he doesn't get out much. That probably explains his antiquated views on the 2x2 sect.

I am not ill, I always get out and I live in a different part of the world than Bert.
Strangely, I seem to have the same "contemporary" views on the 2x2 sect as he does.
Maybe it's not so strange.
