DID ANYONE SEE THE SHOW, LARRY KING LIVE, THE OTHER NIGHT? it had Tammy Faye who is a former church evangilist she now weighs 65 lbs and is dying right now of cancer. Anyway she came on the show to express her love for her fans and for the Lord, even in the current condition, she looked terrible and is like a hospice type patient, she smiled and expressed her faith in God that she would be OK, she expressed an amazing source of courage, strength, faith and love. Her love showed thru even on TV, which is amazing. I am a former professing person, but I was amazed at her courage and faith, she can die at any time now but she had the strength to come on Tv and show her love for the Lord. She is older now and has a life full of drama and scandal, but still now she shows and amazing faith for God and peace. Then they had Deepak Chopra on the show, I have been to the Chopra Center in southern Cali-its more new age, he is not a Christian, more new age...but he is full of wisdom. Anyways I was just thinking of the JOY that Tammy Faye expressed as compared to the workers, and I often wonder underneath her false eyelashes she obviously does have love and joy for God. I mean to go ton national TV at this point in her life. (her death bed) its so obviously not for fame, but she said to share her love. I hope I can leave the world with this much love and joy towards others if I am in pain like that and wasting away....

I was going to ask the same question, yes, I also saw the interview. I am also amazed at her-----I loved when she said, " I know when I die that I will go straight to Heaven!"

I saw bits and pieces. Honestly, growing up we always made from of Tammy Faye for her over-abundant make-up, but she seemed like a sweet and kind-hearted person. I didn't listen to many of her sermons (maybe because her preaching style... or rather, her voice, seems to get on my nerves- mean, but true), and therefore cannot testify to whether she spoke from the bible or not, but it is sad to see her wither away into nothing. She use to be a fairly "meaty" gal. She definitely was positive and upbeat, despite her obvious condition. Most people would be whining and complaining!

I feel very sorry for her now, first and foremost let me say that....but, to me, she was always a joke growing up. She should show up (maybe not now, but in the past at least I mean) and show her gratefulness..she sure lived well and made plentyof cash for her ...coughpreachingcough. M.
