Brad, Do you believe, based on your posts to this board, that you're a peacemaker? Bryan, Do you believe based on your posts to this board that you are peacemaker? Brad Brad, Teenager brought up the term and the verse in relation to you and your posts... A Christian would be willing to answer direct questions placed in front of him... is that something you're willing to do? Please answer the question I've asked as it relates to the post from teenager... Do you believe, based on your posts to this board, that you're a peacemaker?

From Brad, concerning my offer to purchase Nate's old bible- OK. I will sell it for $11K
That's very generous of you.
I could buy hundreds of Bibles without margin notes, but I really have enough right now.
I don't peruse this Bible for scripture, rather to show evidence of the corrupt worker weasels.
Why do you want this Bible so bad?
Brad I can't afford 11 grand, but I will give you $50.00 for it, plus a new bible of your choice (up to another $50.00 purchase price) I want this bible so that I can give it to Nate as a gift. He can then give it to his son. I have an old bible from my dad. It was his last bible he had before he died. The handwritten notes in it help me connect with him, and I get a sense of comfort when I read it. Please PM me with your address and phone number so we can get this set up. Scott

That's very nice and respectful of you Scott. I think it's a pretty low step to try to use a bible to humiliate someone! Brad, you say a lot of really mean things and feel you have the right to do so, because you say it's "truth". No Brad, it's your opinion. We all know what opinions are like. After reading some of your posts, Brad, I can see how some would be turned off to Christianity in general. Your posts give me a view of what you were like as a worker. Here's a suggestion, Brad, (take it or leave it), but a kind word can go so much further. Maybe instead of taking potshots at the friends and workers, you could post something much more edifying, such as the new faith you've found, and what you're learning?

I will also ask you Brad, do you believe you are a peacemaker from what you post on here?

I've found it interesting & very poignant to see his handwriting and "notes" in different places. I cherish it more than anything else I've kept, and to see his familiar handwriting provides a real sense of family connection. Although there are notes inside it (some handwritten, others the typical convention gems), I would never even consider making them public. I may not agree with the beliefs expressed in writing, but I still have the utmost respect for keeping a person's personal thoughts private. I don't think there was any need to go to this extreme in wanting to point out "false doctrine" within the f&w's fellowship. We all know by now what Nathan believes, and I've always been taught that two wrongs don't make a right! I'm sorry that a previously generous gesture on Nathan's part has led to this. I also think the Bible needs to be returned to Nathan so that his son can someday have this connection with his father.

To Brad: I struggled all night with whether I would post or not. I doubt very much it will change you, but I feel like many others here that this is a very low blow. To be frank - I am appalled at this behavior coming from someone who (according to your website) was bullied. Because that is what you are being - a bully. Your actions are mean-spirited, and serve no useful purpose. I am angry to see such behavior from a Christian. Your words are not edifying to your brethren. In fact - I have become convinced that as I look for a new place to have fellowship with other Christians - it won't be at your Good Shepherd Church. I am sorry your life has been difficult. But it is time to stop blaming others for all your problems in life. My childhood was also difficult - ironically, we (you and I) were born in the same state in the same year. I, too, was bullied. I, too, had some issues with my Mom (she's a bully, too!). But I cannot say now, at age 36, that it is OK to berate and belittle those who believe differently from myself because of my life experiences. It is a copout. Grow up. You probably have some very valid doctrinal points re the 2 x 2 faith. But your presentation of those points is so abrasive - that instead of hearing and being persuaded by your perspective, all I hear is BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH. Your ideas would be better served if you would calm down, present those ideas calmly and rationally, without personal attacks on those who don't feel as you do. You DO catch more flies with honey than with vinegar. I think you should quit haranguing Nathan using his old Bible. It is just cruel. What a betrayal of a nice gesture on his part. Again, I don't expect you will change. But give your actions some thought.

I think you should quit justifying Nathan based on God's word of not justifying the wicked and condemning those that you cannot use scripture to find fault with. I hope you change by believing in God's authority to determine right and wrong and use God's word to judge people instead of your opinionis. Brad

Scott, I'm sorry you didn't believe me when I gave you the price. Your offer is refused. Nathan doesn't even have the option of me keeping my Bible. It's not his and hasn't been for many years. I think that's funny "Brad Lewis can keep it". Oh, thank you your majesty for letting me keep what is mine. Groan, Brad

why do you value it at $11,000?... ;D if a person does not want to sell something the best thing to do would be to put a ridiculous price tag on it. Scott did ask what he would sell it for... right?
Brad I took a look at your website... I did not realize that moss could be such a problem.

I'm wondering, Brad... have you always been this insensitive? or just since you found Jesus?

Praise God for that! Brad Do you believe your quotes from www.quotingbrad.blogspot.com is a sign that you've become "more sensitive" since leaving the work? In what respect have you become "more sensitive" to the Friends and Workers... By mocking them and hating them?

Brad If you didn't purchase my old Bible with MONEY... then why you want to sell it to Scott for 11K? Aren't you being a little greedy here, Brad?Nathan, I don't want to sell it to Scott. If he bought if for $11K, he may go broke. In fact, he might even have to borrow the money to do it. That would be bad. I don't think anybody wants your Bible except maybe Scott, Nathan. Nobody has even requested a copy of the CD. I cannot really blame them. It's hardly worth $5. But hey, what do I know, right? You think I'm being greedy for offering to sell it for $11K? I was going to not sell it at all, but I decided that I would part with it for $11K. So, no, I don't think that's a little greedy. Keeping it and not sharing the evidence with others would have been greedy. That's why the CD offer. Do you want a copy of the CD Nathan? Also, try converting Bryan from AK to the 2x2s. He's acting like a little child so I think he's ready for meetings again. Brad

...and I know there's a verse in the Bible somewhere...probably several...that tells us to come before God as a small child....I just haven't read enough in recent years to remember where it is. I'm planning to remedy that. Why do you make the issue of coming before God as a child a 2x2 thing, Bradley??? It's in the BIBLE...which, I believe, all Christians read..not just 2x2s. M.

Ten people could ask or encourage you to follow Jesus and all ten might be different in convcition in who Jesus is and not even know Jesus.
I am willing to follow Jesus, but not the Jesus of the many churches, including the workers' church.
I think we are responsible for following church leaders who worship and serve a different Jesus. You cannot follow the blind and follow the Christ. You follow one or the other. Even if you follow the blind in hope of helping them. You still follow the blind.
