Sadly, our long-time family friend, Lorraine Hanson, passed away at 3:35 yesterday in Portland, Oregon after 3 weeks in the hospital and rehab from a heart infection and kidney failure. She was a sweet lady, always helping others, and took care of several of her elderly relatives.

Condolesences to Lorraine's family and friends.
Was she on this board as the name is vaguely familiar - not that many of us use our names?

Lorraine was super sweet person. I am named after her father and absolutely adored "Rainney" as a little kid. I talked with her online quite abit when I first discovered the old VOT and its progeny.
RIP Lorraine.

I drove to Portland, Oregon and met Lorraine, her mother, and father once, and I took my guitar along. Lorraine was a great pianist and we played many songs together.
We also went to her cousin, Dan Corcoran and his wife's house and had a great time.
I found Lorraine and her family to be very kind and good people.

Lorraine attended most of our workers gospel meetings in Portland, before her death. Which year did you come to Portland? Sorry, I missed you.
