It is true that Willis was the initiator of the bludgeon campaign in Alberta a few years ago --- but pretty much ALL of the other folks on this list walked on the same stretch of road at this time and choose to either go arround on the other side of the road and look the other way -- or to actively kick and mock the fallen.
Most of the very few friends and workers that chose to care for and 'take in' the hurt and bleeding are today outside the fellowship. (Either by choice or through extermination)

The Alberta excommunications (and 'spill off' in other parts of the world) is one of the most well documented scandals in 2x2 history -- so denying it is rather difficult.

Edgar, You certainly have a right to your opinion but what you can also not deny is that those who chose to continue on in the F&W fellowship are as happy and satisfied in what they believe as ever. From where I sit (right in the middle of all of this) -those who chose to quietly continue focusing on Christ-have prospered. Many who got all bent out of shape about some things are still angry, confused and going in circles- many with no fellowship at all which is truly sad. Love, HFA

The Alberta excommunications (and 'spill off' in other parts of the world) is one of the most well documented scandals in 2x2 history -- so denying it is rather difficult. I am curious why all of the facts leading up to this well documented scandals were not made known. The explanations always seem to start in the middle.

I think all the records are readily available. I just did this the other day and was surprised. Go to Yahoo.com and when it comes up just type in Willis Propp. Good reading friend. Looks like plenty of proof there of what people in this thread are writing.

Looks like plenty of proof there of what people in this thread are writing. Like I said earlier on this thread, especially the 2x2 scandals in Alberta are extremely well documented -- and seeing that they have been discussed as much as they have on discussion boards, any search engine on the net will turn up hundreds of references. The problem is not the availability of all the relevant information -- the problem for 2x2ers is the complete lack of will to investigate. This is understandable, as this information is a definate threat to the 2x2 i d i o t i c claim of exclusively representing 'the perfect way of God". Edgar

There is a VOT comment made by Paul Sharp that if the trends of makeup and jewelry continued amongst God's people, he might have to use the rod. Can't remember the direct quote. Made in 1988 at a convention in BC.

Made in 1988 at a convention in BC. Says quite a lot about Paul Sharps feeling about his supreme role in the lives of folks that needed 'the rod' according to his interpretation of the spirit of Christ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Made in 1988 at a convention in BC. I wonder if he has re-thought his stance? He may have had a new revelation in 18 years.
