i forget was he an outsider looking in or an ex-worker ex-friend? He came to TMB seeking information, attending workers gospel meetings, talking to the workers, ex-workers, ex-friends to write his book= "Two by Two" The Shape of a Shapeless Movement: A Study of a Religious Movement Started in Ireland in 1897 by William Irvine and Edward Cooney.

From what I remember Irvine Grey's grand mother (perhaps grandparents), was/were professing and he attended meetings with them when on holidays as a child.
He had the same connection with meetings as a number of others on this board, thus his interest in meetings and yes, did some research and wrote the book on the group.
