Apparently ProBoards are experimenting with use of 'Denial of Service' protection software by Cloudflare.
It has already caused a few difficulties and maybe slows things down.
Let us know here if you experience any problems related to ProBoards use of DDos by Cloudflare (you can google it if you don't know much about it).
One solution if it becomes too bad would be to move TMB to a different hosting platform.
And while on the subject of 'denial of service', and the unique threat that TMB has faced in the past of attempts to close us down. The F&W fellowship is not a secret society. I will have more to say on this later.

Thanks for letting us know. I know CloudFlare does cause problems and sometimes people get blocked from even viewing a site.
Someone who has problems may not be able to post to let you know.

I have been told my browser is being evaluated, or something like that. Finally it lets me in. I have also got the Error message telling me there is issues very frequently and it's frustrating because I have to try several times to get to where I'm going, or to post something. I have gotten in the habit of using control C with all my messages or replies because I found I had to retype everything again if I wanted to respond.

The links to view users' recent posts are not working.

The "Cinnamon" theme no longer shows names, status, and stars or numbers of posts on posters block at the left side of posts and the avatars are odd.

Thanks @wally, I'm just beginning to look at contingency plans for if/when we are forced to move from ProBoards.

I imagine it is the cloudflare that is causing some of the issues we're having? When I go into my notifications and click to get to where someone quoted me or answered me it takes me to the top of the page only, I have to look down the page to see where the post was where I was quoted. I can do it, but it was so much easier when the site took me right to the post without looking for it.
When I post something it doesn't take me back to my post, again taking me to the top of the page. When I want to continue reading posts after I have posted I can't just click their name to get back to where I was when I decided to answer a post. I have to search to find my place.
Has anyone else had this happen?

How did you fix it. I sure would like to figure out a solution. Darned frustrating. I believe it takes you to the top of the page when the post you make is not posted on the same page you were on when you posted. You are at the top because it is a page that you have not yet viewed so all posts are new posts. For example, a page holds 27 posts. If you are responding to post 25 and there are two more following the one to which you are responding, your answer will appear on the next page and you will be at the top of that page. The interaction between your browser, other than speed of data transfer, is not dependent on the location data being provided.

In the past, clicking on the marker by a thread with new posts would take me to the first new post since my last visit to the thread, no matter where it appeared on the thread page. More recently, it has sometimes worked normally, and other times has only taken me to the top of the page with the new material.

More recently, it has sometimes worked normally, and other times has only taken me to the top of the page with the new material. Yes that's how it was for me up until a week ago. For a couple of times yesterday it did take me right to the post the same as it used to. I was so excited thinking it had solved itself. But it didn't last for more than two and then it went right back to taking me to the top of the page and the post was somewhere on that page. So then you have to do through them and find the one and it's time consuming. Also, it used to go to my post if my post was still on the same page as the one I was quoting. Now when I post it doesn't take me to that post no matter what page I'm on. It just takes me to the top of the page. I sure wish I knew how to fix it. So time consuming trying to find posts this way.

No, it used to do that when my post was on a different page than the one I was quoting. But when I clicked on the New icon on the Recent Activity page it would take me directly to the newest post, not the top of the page of the newest post. Now I have to search the page for the newest post. It could be worse I suppose. It could just take me to the start of the thread instead of the top of the page the post is on. I really don't know what to do about it and I asked Admin and they don't know what to do either. Sounds like I'm not the only one having this issue though.

I went on proboards forum looking for explanations of why I was having the problems with the forum not taking me to posts. They said they were fixing it and it would be any day now. Well today I'm back to going to the posts (so far). It did it for awhile before and then quit again, so hope this fix is permanent. You truly don't know how much you use something until it's not there anymore! I'm so happy it's fixed! Thank you Proboards!
