Thank you Dubious Disciple, you have done a great job organizing this sub-board and stimulating some interesting discussion and sharing of views.
Regretfully the skeptics and polemicists now feel the need to dominate the conversation to drive home their point of view. I feel relatively comfortable that I grasp the majority of their points of view since TMB has been pretty well saturated with repetitions of their dogma and argument style for years now. I wish we might have had more time addressing some of the issues you are raising prior to the usurpation, but such is life.
I hope to check in from time to time to see if you might be able re-establish a forum where a diversity of beliefs and experiences can be expressed and discussed without being drowned out by those convinced of their own rectitude and those who feel at liberty to depreciate the values and beliefs of others that may differ from their own.
Once again DD, thanks for championing this discussion. I feel that I gained some insight as a consequence of your efforts for which I am most grateful.

Once again DD, thanks for championing this discussion. I feel that I gained some insight as a consequence of your efforts for which I am most grateful. There is the saying that "you only engage in genuine dialog if you are open to having your views changed by it". This doesn't happen often in online interactions, when it challenges deeply held beliefs/world views. I watch exactly the same kinds of interactions between (arguably) some of the best minds on the planet, not just between people with some connections to an obscure little house church. Having an open mind does not necessarily mean that you do a 180 on your original position - of course not. That kind of turn around is always suspect. But if you are willing to acknowledge that your own pockets of certainty may have their share of dogma, then the dialog can stay open. Sometimes in trying to express your views to others, it can bring clarity to your own mind. Sometimes when trying to understand what someone else is saying, or even the reasons why they are saying it, it can bring valuable insights into your own condition. But, generally, when arguments get repetitive and old, I find other things will engage my attention - it isn't even a conscious decision. If anyone is genuinely open to examining their own POV, they will do it on their own, without input from me. There is a wealth of information available at our fingertips these days. And, if anything particularly piques your interest, further exploration may just be a short plane ride away (or down the street). (What a great time to be alive! ) That being said, I watched this documentary last night: topdocumentaryfilms.com/simulation-hypothesis/

Maybe when science looks at the possibilities of Einstein's general theory of relativity in respect to the space time curvature that the axis of this curvature may rotate in space, at some yet to be determined rate Just a silly thought. this may not make any sense but it makes me less dizzy than the current earth that seems to be "relatively" stationary in respect to my senses .....
Fundamentally I believe it is sound in respect to the creation story explain in genesis the earth being made first , and then the sun and the moon ....

[timestamp="1452198711"] I have been pondering why Santa didn't bring me what I wanted on his holiday maybe there's a reason Nevertheless I will assume he's a mean old ogre ?[/quote][ I have no right to call Santa a mean old ogre. because I have never met him so I don't know anything about him Some people say he does exist other people say he doesn't exist nevertheless if he does exist wouldn't it be wise to find out if there is a valid reason for me for not receiving what I'd hoped for and have it disappointing experience It makes no sense to describe a person in a negative sense unless I know that this is who he is . In fact it could be downright dangerous for these accusations in light of the fact he might not like The fact that I have never met him or ask him why I did not receive what I asked for that's just my opinion and I hope that I don't regret it in the future for something I said today in total ignorance.thankyou

Ok, if trinity considers 3 people is One....
Then proper English should address the oneness as “I” instead Of “we” .
That is, way ‘we’ see it. 😉😊
