Attachment DeletedHere's a wee Ranunculi high on the side of a mountain in Canterbury, NZ. These plants live in an hostile environment and still manage to survive.

The previous image was taken near our motel for the night. It was either sleep here or lose 500 metres of height. Surprisingly comfortable.

Ahh, a grand sight when you do see it from Denali - the tallest mountain in the world! Although I have never seen it myself, I am told by those who have made the trip that the view of Denali, just as the sun rises and illuminates the peak, from Mt McKinley is beautiful beyond your wildest imagination. From looking at the maps it seems that Denali would be towering over Mt McKinley. I am sure it is truly awesome. Almost as awesome as the view from the base of Mauna Kea. I believe I was talking about viewing Mt McKinley from Denali National Park - the complete view is very seldom visible. As I read your post I'm thinking you've been on the mushrooms again.

I was just about to upload the one clear photo I have of Mt McKinley taken from the summit of Denali. I think I have one of Denali taken from the summit of Dengadhiy with a lot of detail.

Eve wondered too. You can tell by Eve's expression and the way she's holding her hand she's saying "What the hell is that for?" For those interested, Martin Gardner wrote Did Adam and Eve Have Navels?: Debunking Pseudoscience. An interesting book from a logical writer. Martin Gardner wrote for Scientific American and had some very interesting mathematical puzzles ... beautiful creations! Maybe God breathed life into Adam through the umbilicus and tied it off. Like a balloon. Except not air.
