By 2030, a big part of "the truth" as we know today will either be dead or too old to have much influence. Will the group die out or change from within enough to keep the young people and even attract new babes??
I don't see many faithful and zealous friends born after say 1975 or 1980.

Bert, in my part of the world, local churches have built bigger buildings and the parking lots are full. So it is greater than a decline in Christianity. When I say faithful and zealous, I mean in meeting attendance, open homes for the servants, driving long distances to gospel meetings, dressing like the traditional ladies did when I was smaller, etc..The faithful inner circle of those keeping in the "center of the way" is shrinking.

In 2030, George Lee, Jerome Frandle, Barry Barkley, Irving Ross, Lyle Schober, Ron Thomke, will either be dead or late 80s-early 90s. Jeff Thayer, Greg Harger, the Gasser brothers (Glenn and Richard), and Ray Hoffman would still be able to have some responsibility if their health holds out. I just don't see the younger brothers wanting responsibility as so many are leaving the work and starting families.

I believe Christ will return before the way dies out... Depending which way you mean. There will always be Christians on the earth and those in meeting can choose to be included in the body of Christ or not. Hes not going to come just for one little self made group (as they all are) but he is coming for His church which is born again believers no matter what fellowship they choose to meet with.

I don't believe that is necessarily true; that "there will always be Christians on the earth."
Gods/goddesses & religions have come, stayed awhile & left again ever since mankind as we know it existed. Probably in pre homo-sapiens as well.

So Wally does that mean you can pick & choose ? if you mean Gods laws/commandments, NO...
if you mean can I pick and choose various churches doctrines or information for use then, YES...especially if I deem it biblical in nature...

Rev_3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

So Wally does that mean you can pick & choose ? Awhile back I posted that Jesus said to build on the rock, not on sand. Sand is pieces of rock, so then some who are building on sand may have pieces which coincide with those who are building on the rock.

So you are not exclusive them Emy ? Do you believe the "fellowship" is the only right way ?

So you are not exclusive them Emy ? Do you believe the "fellowship" is the only right way ? I am not hardline exclusive. We are not supposed to judge another's eternal destination. There are people who are not in the fellowship that I feel have a faith common to mine. But my lacking such a feeling does not prove they are not saved. There are so many variables. I do feel that those who have fellowship with the Father and Son are called into one fellowship. I base that on 1 John 1. I would never say that God demands it of everyone. The Bible says there are those who see His truth in His creation, etc. Those drawn to God who get close enough to believe in Jesus in an active way, will be His children, right?

But who are we to say who has built on pieces of truth? We could say the fellowship is built on pieces of truth too !
