Partaker, the term "God's servants" in the venacular of the 2&2 ministry group, simply is not what it means to myself and many many other's who believe in God. Further, to me and the many like me, use of that term as those of that group do, grows increasingly offensive by its restriction to 2&2 workers.
Fact! I am more God's servant now than I ever was as a "worker." So are many others. I understand what you are saying, I have used it here specifically about workers because that is how they are referred to in the fellowship and we are discussing workers in the fellowship. Perhaps We can start another thread about who are really God's servants, if you like, and that would expand the meaning, and who would rightly qualify to such a title.

Euros? British pounds? Monopoly money? Oh - Canadian $2 $5 and $10 The green and brown ones are gone now. They've been replaced with loonies and twoonies. With chagrin, I report that I have never seen Canadian currency. After all, I grew up a LONG way from Canada -- just below Minnesota in Iowa . We did see the occasional coin, especially those dimes that sneaked across the border and looked a lot like our dimes but had a funny picture of a lady on them. But back to John Watt (gently nudging the thread back on track), John, I would be happy to help you change some of your currency to dollars when you arrive in the U.S. (that is, as I asked earlier, if you're flying through New York.) And then I'll buy you that cup of coffee. Would be great to meet you, truly! Gene

I was having a clean out the other day and found a Convention speakers list from Masterton 1989. On it was a chap named Ernie Barry. He appears twice so must be a very important visiting worker. That name rings a bell but can't remember why. Anyone care to help?

Hi Fixit, thanks for that tip. I tried searching this web site but was too messy. Google helped and I have my answer. You can restrict google's search to a single site. In a google search using the string site:{site.name.com} {search terms} will restrict the search to site.name.com and look for the search terms. For example, to look for mentions of Ernie Barry on this message board use the search string: site:professing.proboards.com Ernie BarryIt will return an easily navigated list.
