How about we put Casa Grande on You Tube? Do they "broadcast" some of the meetings over the phone for the ones unable to get there? Its only a matter of time before audio recordings will get passed around. It gives some of the senior workers nightmare just thinking of such. Surely someone could do some recording on a smart phone

Ken's Quote - " And there you have it Berts view of the world of exes. You should get out more bert"Ross' Quote - "Bert - from an Aussie to an Aussie, only a goose would write this! Seriously, you must spend too much time on the net if you are thinking about this perverted stuff." Ken and Ross, I know a few dozen former members of my church. Their TV consumption seems no different to anyone else.
So in America I must assume the average former member, as per the average American TV viewer, will watch OVER four hours a day of television. And from that daily consumption the above figures were drawn.
If you have multiple TV's or like to channel surf a lot, you most likely could see a lot more of this spiritually edifying stuff.
Bert Seems to me that your blind side is seperating those who don't serve the Lord from those that do. ken

What does "serve God" actually mean? If we can't agree on definitions of words, then we are just talking past each other.

Quote - " Surely someone could do some recording on a smart phone" All you will hear is boring Jesus stuff, no?Oh please. It would be nice to hear more of the 'Jesus stuff' as you put it - rather than the usual man made rules & traditions that they like to remind people of every chance possible.

Like the Sermon on the Mount? Now there's three whole chapters of "man-made rules" some would clearly love to do without.

It's the ones that have been made/changed/changed again in the past 120 years that I don't think are necessary. More especially the ones that apply to the 'saints' but not the 'servants'. But I don't mind if you like them.

You need to be specific. Most allegations here are non-specific.

You need to be specific. Most allegations here are non-specific. The following is from an earlier post of Ross's on a different thread.... Obviously it's not appropriate to be name specific but I'm sure with your contacts you'd know who these people are. 'For example, one Head worker will overlook one of their senior colleagues who has fathered a child while in the work partly because they don't want the scandal to emerge but also because the head workers own philandering which is well known can continue to be kept out of the spotlight if he does nothing in respect of his 2IC. At the same time if one of the friends engages in either behaviour and it is known they have all kind of sanctions imposed on them by those same workers.' Not to mention the rules that are different from state to state & country to country.

I have scores of professing saints on my facebook group. I am on Youth 323. So Yes I know the trends of the Truth in 2014. I see the dress, entertainment and other traditions that vary wildly from place to place. Monied saints have a lot of influence over things as well.

Someone gives you specifics to back up their statement and you go all quiet on the subject!

I get amused when I hear or read from someone who hasn't been to a meeting in decades and yet claims to be an authority on the fellowship meetings we know as "the truth".
