the Phillipines has large numbers--but when I visited I observed it to be a church of 80% old ladies. Not much of a future even there unless they can appeal to younger people.

Interesting observation. So often when you hear of the workers finding "lost souls" in third world countries they do tend to be middle age + and not too many younger ones. The younger ones you do hear of are generally children of whose parents have professed... IMO

You know the salvation of souls isnt about man. It is about the Father calling and the Holy Spirit convicting them. Many young people get saved at a young age, go off the rails for a while and then return once they begin having families.
In respect to the workers you are not giving them a far go suggesting it is their fault. That is a huge burden to place on people. Is age relevant to salvation? No, it has nothing to do with it. To suggest that a middleage person isnt good enough bz of age is racist. You naughty aussie.
If you gage numbers by the 'workers flock', you are off base as far as the Kingdom of God is concerned because ..... Thats right forgot for a minute that most of you think you are the only ones going to heaven.
In the kingdom of the God the body of Christ is more than 2x2 numbers.

Just wondering.

I'm sure you didn't mean to denigrate the discovery of lost souls in third world countries simply because they "tend to be middle age +..." or did you?

I was just making an observation of what seems to be the case in the F&W church as who the lost souls they attract are...dont know where being racist comes into that?

Or where did I say that age is relevant to salvation? Where did I say that a middle-age person isnt good enough? I take great offence at being called racist and think that is totally inappropriate slander towards me

Ive looked it up.
–noun 1. a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one's own race is superior and has the right to rule others. 2. a policy, system of government, etc., based upon or fostering such a doctrine; discrimination. 3. hatred or intolerance of another race or other races.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It ^ seems harsh. Ill retract what I said I was really suggesting that you were teasing about middle age people. I most humbly deeply apologise that I offended you. That was not my intention. Nothing could be further from the truth. Please forgive me?
