Heh, this whole mess is far fetched, so someone might just as well come up with some more far fetched explanations or theories.
Here are a few ways the list of 200 could have come to be, the twins mentally ill or not
1) The twins acted "99%" alone.
The twins were able to come up with the 200 names based on people they've met and names they've heard in general conversation. The only help the twins received was someone else writing down what the twins were saying and driving them places.
2) The twins acted "95%" alone.
The twins were able to come up with the 200 names based on people they've met and names they've heard in general conversation. BUT, the twins asked questions, where the twins described a person/place and someone else helped the twins remember names, in addition to doing the writing/driving.
3) The twins acted "75%" alone.
The twins were able to come up with the general info/comments about 200 people based on people they've met and names they've heard in general conversation. The twins then played off of someone else's reaction to add/not add that person to their list.
4) The twins acted "50%" alone.
Someone intentionally or not, gave the twins a list/lists of names all at once/over the course of time. The twins used that list to come up with the accusations.
5) The twins acted "25%" alone
Based on the twins belief that they had been abuse in general, someone was able to ask leading questions, that prompted the twins to accuse people to have done things that the twins did not even understand.
6) The twins acted "5%" alone
Someone was able to convince the twins that these 200 people had abused them in the ways listed. The twins went along for the ride.
7) The twins acted "1%" alone
Someone else created the list of names and the accusations and the twins claimed it as their own.
