Not yet . . . haven't decided whether I'll see this in theaters, since my son isn't that interested and I'm not sure whether I'll just go by myself. Norton doesn't do a thing for me, but I do have a soft spot in my heart for The Hulk, so I may end up going at some point.

Gonna see it. Looks like they couldn't get Eric Bana back? He must have had enough of Hulking, huh? Yeah, it's a superhero. I gotta see it. I just wish they didn't animate the Hulk, though. Get Dorian Yates or some super huge bodybuilder for the role like in the Ferrigno days.

Brick - I think the reason Bana didn't come back is b/c this movie isn't a continuation of the 1st one. It's a complete do-over, from what I understand. Too bad, really . . . Bana is much purtier to look at than Norton.

Too bad, really . . . Bana is much purtier to look at than Norton. I didn't realize that it wasn't a sequel. Something made me think it was a continuation in the preview... I love Bana, but I can't say that I was crazy about him in The Hulk. I actually haven't seen a lot of him. I remember him best from Blackhawk Down.

Yeah, I didn't know until recently that it wasn't a sequel. Did you ever see Troy or Munich? He was in those movies. I wish I could get excited about Norton in this film, but I'm not . . . truly the only thing pulling me towards watching it is simply the whole Hulk thing . . . I've been in a Bill Bixby/Hulk mood the past few days - started watching my copy of The Incredible Hulk Season 1 . . . I swear, Bixby reminds me so much of my Dad, it's uncanny (especially when he was younger). And when the Hulk was on TV back in the 70s/80s, it wasn't uncommon for people to think Dad was either Bixby himself, or was somehow related to the man. ;D

Did you ever see Troy or Munich? He was in those movies. Yeah. Liked both of them. I always liked Bill Bixby too. Loved him in The Magician. Unfortunately, that show only lasted a season, I think. I'll have to see if any video of it is available. It would be great to see again. That's funny that he looks so much like your father.

Yes - I have seen the new one. I am one of the few people I know who liked the earlier one. But I do think the new one is an improvement. Obviously Mr. Bana is yummy, but (IMO) Edward Norton is actually quite attractive in a nerdy, lost puppy sort of way. I would also recommend, especially if you're a Marvel comics aficionado, seeing Iron Man before you see the Incredible Hulk.

Yeah, I've heard about The Magician - hopefully one day it'll be available on DVD. In the meantime, the TV pilot for the series is around somewhere . . . *cough* mininova *cough* [a href=" www.mininova.org/tor/1303994"] www.mininova.org/tor/1303994[/a] It is indeed . . . I see my father in him so much (gestures, facial expressions, etc.) - maybe that's why I loved him and was so emotionally affected when he died. It literally felt like I'd lost a good friend. It still makes me feel rather sad. ETA: You know, I liked it okay too . . . up until the ending scenes with his father. Then I was like - huh??!!Yes, I know the reason for that little hint. And Iron Man was so much fun.

Watched Hulk today - it was pretty good! I liked it quite a bit and it's a definite improvement over Ang Lee's version.
Ironically, my two brothers both decided to watch it today as well, and all of us live in different states throughout the country - we didn't even plan it this way but it's funny how it turned out. LOL

How about 'The Ruins'? I began watching it and was creeped out in about 15 minutes or so. And nothing had happened yet, just a feeling of bad karma for the characters in the film. I mean, it was oppressive. I shut it off. I don't need that. I wanna see something that leaves a positive imprint on my psyche.

Wolf Creek is a gripper.........ewwwwww. Have you seen that. That and Misery would be 2 of the scariest movies I have seen.

I didn't watch it tonight...may do yet today sometime. I really want to see it and plan to in the next couple of days. Wolf Creek? NOOOOOOOOO> I don't "do" scary movies. I'm a big skeerdy cat. Just as no name. I don't even like when she talks about vampires and whatnot! ;D

Eric Bana is a hottie... He was awesome in "Chopper". (A really dark true story) and had a small part in one of my fave rentals "The Castle" I highly recommend both very different genre movies. never saw either versions of" The Hulk.' Does he get all green with purple shorts? And how do those shorts stay on when he triples in size? ? Troy was a not so great film bit had Bana and Sean Bean (another hottie IMO)
