much to encourage, correction and ......... how to be thankful. This is not a trick or smart ss question - why must we be told how to be thankful?

How to be thankful: We can Count our blessings, look on the bright side, meditate on the hope of a brighter tomorrow, an eternity with Jesus.
Why should we be told how to be thankful?
That is a strange question. Some people are resistant to being told anything, or they have a complex that makes them feel inferior when told to do something. Maybe many of us, me included, sometimes feel like this. A little resentful of some good advice.
A good reason for needing to be told how to be thankful might be the lack of gratitude expressed in our behaviour. There is a tendency to demand and to dwell upon our rights and expectations instead of on the many gifts we have received. Thankfulness is pleasant because it breeds contentment and leads to a happy disposition. IMHO.
Some of us can look back to sadder times in life and so it is easier for us to feel thankful for what we have received. Maybe we can also be thankful for what out faith in Jesus has done for us. I am never thankful enough for this.

Holiday Hanney is always well attended. I wonder where all the people who used to attend Debenham went?

Not much went on at convention ten! Nothing worth reporting it seems.
