Well, surely professing people do not take part in the Lottery! Why not? "professing people" do almost anything these days. The old princilpes of decency even have all gone at least with those we see around. Anything goes! Fashion, greed, workaholicism, sport, pleasure, sex outside of marriage, babies out of wedlock, abortion, divorce, abuse and worse.......... lying when asled questions about origins, all th vices, they can do what they like unrestricted by their leaders. Not like in previous years.

There were some friends I Knew here in Illinois that took part in a phone company deal that got pretty big. She started wearing some pretty large diamond rings so I think they did well in it. I dont want to say there last name but I do now this to be true because I bought the phone company deal from them personally. Wearing a diamond ring could well have got you exed in the UK a few years ago. Have things changed?

Talking of diamonds and jewllery I've often wondered why did Jesus tell a story about searching for the pearl of great price, if his followers were to be banned from using jewellery?

Talking of diamonds and jewllery I've often wondered why did Jesus tell a story about searching for the pearl of great price, if his followers were to be banned from using jewellery? I could be wrong but I haven't read anywhere of Jesus instructing his followers not to wear jewellery. Paul of course did but his intention was to encourage modesty in all things which of course is ignored when it comes to cars, houses, clothes etc. In many places as there is an awareness that a fancier car, more expensive clothes etc. are a goal in itself if one is to hold one's head up high at convention and not feel shamed into parking in the bottom field and slinking back into the tent 20 minutes before the beau monde so your cheap clothes aren't spotted. Or maybe it's just the people I hung around with.
