I don't know how many of you knew Sarah Opel. She was in her late eighties when she passed in her sleep a week or two ago. She was residing in Texas with her husband.
I know they lived in Louisiana, and ventured out of the country.. Sweden, different places.
Lovely lady. Always came into meeting holding her husband's hand. Seems you rarely see older married couples with such passion for each other.

Just wondering , was her husband Glenn?
There was a couple I met in the late seventys
in England by that name.

Oops, sorry it took me so long to reply. Yes, Glenn was her hubby. And yes, they use to be in England. Well traveled people.

Thanks for the reply/info, I will let a professing couple I know,know, who were quite close to them at that time,(25 years ago) and I don't think they have heard yet.

Seems you rarely see older married couples with such passion for each other. They may have visited in Sweden but they lived in Norway for a number of years. Thanks for sharing the information. |
