Everett M. Hansen, 92, New Auburn, Wis., died Saturday, Oct. 29, 2005, at Knapp Haven Nursing Home, Chetek.

He was born June 13, 1913, to Chris and Josephine (Cooper) Hansen in the Town of Dallas, Barron County, where he was raised and attended school.
On July 21, 1938, he married Julia Young at Barron. He worked in the Ridgeland and Elmwood creameries for many years. After retiring, he operated Hansen's Organic Gardens.
Everett enjoyed entertaining his family and friends by playing his piano and accordion.
Surviving in addition to his wife of Chetek are a son, Gary of Chetek; daughters, Avis Johnson of Elmwood, Karen Turner, Cheryl Mickelson and Julie Nelson, all of Chetek, Kathy Greunke of Connorsville and Valerie Hansen of Chetek; 25 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughters, Pamela Nelson and Annette Johnson; a grandson, Matthew Greunke; a step-granddaughter, Michelle Berning; brothers, Merritt, Alvin and Curtis; a sister, Pearl Slovacek; and sons-in-law, Everett Turner and Donald Johnson.
Services held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, from the Ridgeland Community Center, Perry Pearson and Charles Thain officiating, with interment at Glenwood Cemetery, Town of Dallas.
Mark Rausch Funeral Service, Dallas and Cameron, handled arrangements.
