In arecent gospel meeting in SE England got me wondering if there are more colonials here in the Uk professing and living here than there are native born Brits? Place seems over-run by South Africans, Kiwis, Aussies etc. Fascinating, Aileen. The term "colonials" I mean. Aileen, a question for you: Are Americans in Britain considered colonials? (I think the U.S.A. was a British colony at one point, if I remember my history correctly. Sigh... those were mightily moving days..... I remember freespirit standing there behind Rational, handing him a freshly loaded musket while I beat the tattoo on the battle drums, gazing at Rational with awe and respect in my young eyes....)

The big difference that makes USA no longer a colony of UK, is that they declared war, and became really truly independent.
Australia and New Zealand didn't. They still try to share our Queen, though it seems some ozzies want to give her the "heave ho mate"
But a question inreturn, for an "American" in Switzerland... Why do US citizens refer seem to think the term "American" only refers to them. Are Columbians not also Americans?

But to not call myself an American leaves me with no other convenient label. "U.S.A.ian" sounds a bit awkward. And so I have have bowed to common usage, and call myself American.

"we an't colonials anymore sis " typical colonial spelling..... Proving that you are still in the convict mode I'm astounded to see there are still people who actually think "class" matters. What do you think is the history of Britain? War after war, invasion after invasion, one group of self-appointed royals ousting the next. You need perspective. Don't stretch it too far with Aileen, you know....mmmm

See how she turns it around !!!! again!!
Everyone is wrong as she cannot see herself or anyone else's view point but her own narrow one.
Truth will out Aileen.
Go back to watching TV with the workers. That's what you say you do isn't it?
Funny she cannot tell us which ones!!!!

Place seems over-run by South Africans, Kiwis, Aussies etc. Is this a worthy thought to have ? What were you meant to be doing in a gospel meeting? Shouldn't your thoughts have been on Jesus and how he wanted to bring all nations together as ONE? What do you mean by posting such a post? Why do you go to gospel Meetings, Aileen? Sounds like you really need help. You realise, don't you that a post like this gives the Truth a bad name if you claim membership!

In Christ there is no east or west. In Him no south or north. 'Tis one the shepherd's sacred flock, Though scattered oér the earth.
